FAQ

Swapping on TRON: questions

Thirty-five answers on rates, fees, addresses and how swapping works without a wallet connection.

What is Swap Crypto?

Swap Crypto is a TRON-focused swap page where you pick two tokens, see a live market rate and exchange TRX, USDT and other TRC20 tokens without connecting a wallet.

How do I swap crypto on TRON?

Choose the token you send and the token you want, enter an amount, paste the TRON address that should receive the funds and press Swap Now. The estimate updates as you type.

Do I need to connect my wallet?

No. There is no connect modal and no browser-extension prompt. You only provide an amount and a receiving address.

Which tokens can I swap?

The widget lists TRX, USDT, USDC, JST, SUN and BTT on the TRON network. Availability of individual pairs can change, and the widget shows what is currently offered.

Where do the rates come from?

Indicative prices come from the CoinGecko API, which aggregates market data. The page refreshes them automatically about every 90 seconds.

Is the rate shown final?

No. The estimate is a market reference. The amount you receive is confirmed in the quote before you commit, and it can differ slightly because of fees and market movement.

What fees apply to a swap?

A swap can involve a service fee and the TRON network cost of moving tokens. Any fees that apply are shown in the quote before you confirm.

What are TRON energy and bandwidth?

They are the resources TRON uses to pay for transactions. Sending TRC20 tokens such as USDT consumes energy, which is otherwise covered by burning TRX.

Are there minimum or maximum amounts?

Limits can vary by token pair and market conditions. If an amount is outside the allowed range, the widget tells you before you proceed.

How long does a swap take?

TRON produces blocks about every three seconds, so on-chain transfers are usually quick. Total time depends on network conditions and the number of confirmations required.

Why can the amount I receive differ from the estimate?

The estimate uses a reference price. Fees, rounding and price movement between the estimate and the quote can change the final figure.

What is slippage?

Slippage is the gap between the expected price and the executed price when markets move. Stablecoin pairs such as USDT to USDC usually see less of it than volatile pairs.

Which address should I enter?

Enter a TRON address that starts with T and has 34 characters. The field checks this format as you type and flags anything that does not match.

What happens if I enter the wrong address?

Blockchain transfers are irreversible, so a wrong but valid-looking address means the funds go there. Re-read the address, compare the first and last characters and send a small test first for large amounts.

Do I need a memo or tag?

TRON addresses do not use a memo. Some exchanges do require one for deposits, so check your destination platform's instructions before swapping to its address.

What is the difference between USDT on TRON and on other networks?

The same token exists on several networks, and they are not interchangeable. Only receive and send USDT TRC20 on TRON, and never send it to an address on another chain.

Do I need TRX in my wallet?

Having a little TRX helps you pay for later transactions with your tokens. It is not needed just to receive a swap.

What is TRON account activation?

A brand-new TRON address becomes active once it receives its first transfer. This is normal and can slightly affect the cost of a first transaction to a fresh address.

Can I swap to an exchange deposit address?

Often yes, provided the exchange supports the token on the TRON network. Confirm the network and any memo rule first, and consider a small test amount.

Which wallets are compatible?

Any wallet that supports TRON addresses can receive your swap, including mobile, desktop and hardware wallets. You never connect it to this site.

Can I use a hardware wallet?

Yes. Copy the TRON receiving address from your hardware wallet's interface, paste it into the swap form and verify it on the device screen.

Can I swap from my phone?

Yes. The page is responsive and works in mobile browsers, and because nothing needs connecting there is no wallet app to switch to.

Is identity verification required?

Requirements can depend on the amount and local rules. If anything extra is needed, you will see it before you confirm the swap.

How do I stay safe while swapping?

Check that you are on swap-crypto20.vercel.app, never share a seed phrase or private key, and confirm the receiving address twice. This site never asks for secret keys.

How do I verify my swap on-chain?

Take the transaction hash and look it up in a TRON block explorer. You will see the sender, the receiver, the token, the amount and the confirmation status.

What if my swap does not arrive?

First check the receiving address and the transaction hash in a TRON block explorer, since confirmations can take a short while. If it still looks stuck, contact support with the hash.

How do I swap USDT to USDC?

Set USDT as the token you send and USDC as the token you receive, enter the amount and your TRON address. Stablecoin pairs usually track close to one-to-one.

What does TRC20 mean?

TRC20 is TRON's token standard, comparable to ERC-20 on Ethereum. USDT, USDC, JST and many other tokens on TRON follow it.

Why swap on the TRON network?

TRON offers fast blocks and typically low transfer costs, which is why it is widely used for stablecoin payments and swaps.

How often are rates updated?

The page requests fresh prices roughly every 90 seconds while the tab is open and pauses when the tab is hidden.

Why might prices differ from other websites?

Different sources aggregate different markets and update at different times. CoinGecko prices are a reference, and the quote you confirm is what counts.

Can I swap large amounts?

For larger sizes, contact the team before swapping so a quote and a suitable route can be arranged instead of relying on the standard widget.

Are addresses screened for risk?

Transfers may be subject to risk screening, and swaps linked to sanctioned or flagged addresses can be declined. This protects both you and the service.

Is there an API or partner integration?

Integration options are available on request. Contact the team with your use case and expected volume.

How do I get started or reach support?

Open the swap form, pick your pair and enter an amount. For questions, use the Contact link in the footer and include the transaction hash if you have one.
